Pitch Perfect 102
August 8 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm Free
Why this workshop is important:
Entrepreneurs seeking equity (angel and venture) funding must prepare and submit pitches to potential investors. Poor presentation of pitches often leads to failed attempts and hard lessons learned. Pitching investors and lenders is one of the greatest challenges facing entrepreneurs. High impact communications can motivate investors. This workshop provides participants with the opportunity to practice their pitches in a safe and supportive environment leading to constructive and meaningful feedback.
Who should attend this workshop?
Entrepreneurs seeking angel, venture or lending capital who have already prepared a pitch. The workshop allows presenters to improve communications skills while learning how to address questions with professionalism and dynamism. Participants will have a ten (10) minute window to present pitches followed by Q&A and feedback.
What participants will learn during the workshop:
The “Pitch Perfect” approach is adaptable to every time of industry and business. Participants will learn the best way to build rapport with investors and loan officers. Reviewers will provide an overall assessment of the presentation and speak to specific components of each pitch.
