How Is Your Company Doing, Financially?
December 7, 2017 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am$25.00
Performance Measurements are used to answer specific business questions. Financial managers and company owners want to keep overhead and sales aligned properly and monitor overall company profitability. Sales managers want to know which customers/products/services are profitable. Those who manage operations want to monitor changes in production cost.
Company owners typically measure sales volumes, as most managers understand the importance of monitoring revenue. However, measuring sales numbers is not enough. Other business decisions, such as decreasing profit margins or increasing cost, can cause cash flow problems. Neither of which can be detected by simply monitoring sales volumes. For this reason, it is important to have Performance Measurements that also follow profitability trends.
- Is my company profitable?
- What rends are occurring that we should be aware of?
- What will the numbers look like at the end of the year?
- Are we properly managing our overhead?
- Should we be making some changes now?
It is imperative that business owners and managers develop basic financial management skills. By just knowing a handful of financial measurements you can immediately gain a better understanding of the financial condition of your company. Expecting others in the organization to manage finances is clearly asking for trouble.
Presented in this webinar are several essential Performance Measurements used to monitor sales, overhead and profitability. They apply to any business, independent of size and scope.
