Greg Horos is a staunch small business advocate. As owner and co-founder of LOCALI, a multi-unit deli/market hybrid quick service restaurant concept, he served as Chief Operations Officer for over 15 years. Greg’s key areas of experience include budgeting, cost controls, labor, purchasing, vendor relations, and supply chain strategies. He is also well-versed in contract lease/financial negotiations, legal strategies, cost-benefit analysis, inventory control systems, and risk management planning. Greg is now in his fifth year as an SBDC advisor and joined PCR Business Finance in 2023. He founded Big Catch Consulting, which helps develop customized growth strategies for small-to medium-sized businesses. His focus areas are retail, QSR/restaurant, and service-based operations. His expertise spans B2B/B2C Sales, Retail Management, and Cost Controls to Operational/Restructuring Planning, COGS/Menu design, Packaged Food Line, and Franchise/Licensing Development. In addition to his consulting work, Greg has volunteered as a Business Representative for local Neighborhood Councils, Chambers of Commerce, and LAPD. He is currently very active in church outreach efforts, such as prison ministry and business development initiatives, to help build entrepreneurial commerce in underserved communities. As an avid fitness and OCR enthusiast, he trains for his next Spartan Race.
