Arriving early will ensure your admittance. \nREGISTER NOW \n  \nPresenters: \nNabil Captan:\nNabil Captan is a nationally recognized credit score expert\, educator\, author\, and producer. As founder and president of Captan & Company\, he is dedicated to revolutionizing the way people learn about and manage personal and business credit profiles. \nHe has participated in numerous conferences\, panels\, and roundtables for real estate and lending professionals\, financial planners\, housing and credit counselors. Nabil also teaches in leadership programs at various California community colleges and universities\, including El Camino College\, CSU Dominquez Hills\, and Chapman University. He produced The Credit DVD which is used to help consumers build a strong credit score\, and is approved and used by FICO (Fair Isaac Corporation\, a company that specializes in what’s known as “predictive analytics) in its training. \nNabil continues to investigate all areas of credit scoring and reporting\, customizing his presentations to include best practices for those whose credit scores have suffered. Following the financial crisis\, he researched the true impact of mortgage defaults on FICO scores. \nNabil’s unwavering commitment to community service is best described by his eight-year partnership with the U. S. Small Business Administration/SCORE of Orange County\, which provides valuable services to the business community. He created and continues to present The Road to Business Credit\, a monthly workshop for small and mid-size businesses. \nNate Jemison: \nOCIE CSUF SBDC\, ECC and LBCC SBDC Presenter Bio: Nathaniel (Nate) Jemison\, El Camino College Small Business Development Center and Orange County Inland Empire Small Business Development Center Business Advisor (Access to Capital) \nMr. Jemison is responsible for Access to Capital\, Financial Analysis and Loan Consulting at both the El Camino College and Orange County Inland Empire SBDC (ECC and OCIE SBDC) offices. He has over 20+ years’ experience as a wholesale (commercial) and corporate banker with national\, regional and community banks during his 20+ year commercial banking career. For the last sixteen years\, Mr. Jemison has operated his own independent financial consulting services business for small business owners and entrepreneurs including the last 8 years contracting with the ECC SBDC and last 2 years with the OCIE SBDC. He is a graduate of California State University Long Beach and received his formal credit training from the distinguished and highly regarded Security Pacific National Bank Commercial Loan Training Program in 1982. Mr. Jemison was nominated and awarded the 2014 Outstanding Advisor of the Year Award for the Long Beach City College SBDC and has been a Los Angeles SBDC Network $ Million Dollar Access to Capital award recipient for the last four years.
