    Electricity rates going up?
Join us for a lunch meeting to learn about Time-Of-Use (TOU) rates, energy audits and energy reduction programs.
    Luncheon Agenda:
    11:45 am – 12:00 pm — Opening Remarks
    12:00 pm – 12:20 pm –  Southern California Edison
12:20 pm – 12:30 pm — California Manufacturing Technology Consulting (CMTC)
12:40 pm – 1:00 pm — Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE)

    Overview

For the past several months, Southern California Edison (SCE) has been keeping local businesses informed that starting January 2014, most businesses on a GS-1, GS-2, PA-1 or PA-2 rate will start transitioning to new TOU rates. TOU is part of a statewide initiative designed to keep the electric grid reliable, so everyone will have power when they need it, by reducing peak demand. SCE is making sure its customers have the information and tools they need ahead of time to make this change go as smoothly as possible. Business customers transitioning to TOU in 2014 will receive a personalized rate analysis with a side-by-side comparison of their current rates and the new Time-Of-Use rates, so they can see how the change affects them.

    Speakers:

Kris Widdison of CMTC will discuss practical approaches to Strategic Energy Management (SEM) in support of California goals for energy demand reductions through Energy Efficiency (EE) and Integrated Demand Side Management (IDSM) at the industrial and commercial facility level.

Danny Leung of PACE will discuss innovative ways to finance energy efficiency and renewable energy upgrades to buildings.
