Trade finance documentary letters of credit and collection presentations of transport documents for payment have gone from paper to digital as of July 1, 2019. The International Chamber of Commerce has issued new guidelines to supplement the UCP 600 for credits and URC 522 for collections. The average time for export payment can be reduced from 24 days to 4 days, and the importer’s cash flow can be cut in half when these guidelines are utilized.

This webinar is intended to provide awareness to importers, exporters, freight forwarding companies and banks of this innovative online option for structuring trade transactions.
