The Southern California District Export Council (DEC) includes leaders from the local business community, appointed by successive U.S. Secretaries of Commerce, whose knowledge of international business provides a source of professional advice for local firms.
Our Partnership
The Southern California District Export Council offers LA SBDC clients exclusive access to their member’s incredible array of expertise. Through the LA SBDC network’s international trade program, an LA SBDC client can access, in conjunction with their SBDC advisor, 40 DEC members and their expertise to resolve almost any international trade issue. All SBDC services offered with DEC member assistance are confidential. Among the DEC members is one of our very own LA SBDC Network Directors, Ray Bowman.
