The Los Angeles Community College District’s (LACCD) Small Contractor Boot Camp is a four-session program explicitly designed for small contractors to improve their competitive bidding capacity. Small contractors will learn more about the prequalification process for the BuildLACCD Program’s Pre-Qualified Service Provider (PQSP) bench, for projects ranging from $25K to $5M.
The Opportunity:
- Session 1 (Tuesday, October 6 | 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM): Bond Program Overview, Small Business Certification & Bonding, and Access to Capital.
- Session 2 (Thursday, October 8 | 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM): Estimating, Pre-Qualification Overview, Scheduling, and Facilities Projects.
- Session 3 (Tuesday, October 13 | 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM): Safety, Project Labor Agreement, and Labor Compliance.
- Graduation (Thursday, October 15 | 5:00 PM – 7:30 PM): Receive a Certificate of Completion and access networking and small business resources.
