Do holiday shoppers know about your Covid safety measures?

So, you’ve spent the money and put in the work to comply with Covid safety regulations. Maybe you’ve even gone above and beyond the requirements to help your staff and customers feel as secure as possible.

But do your customers know what your business is doing to protect them? And more importantly, do safety-conscious shoppers know that you stand out from your competitors?

Here’s three ways to communicate your Covid safety practices during the holiday shopping season and beyond:

1. Complete the Health & Safety checklist on your Yelp business page. Activate the free customizable banner on Yelp to describe any additional measures you’ve taken.

2. Add a “Covid Safety” link in the navigation bar at the top of your homepage. Link to a page on your site highlighting your safety practices.

3. Go beyond the required signage in your storefront and post a personal message with your photo explaining that your business is not just jumping through the hoops–that you care about your customers’ well-being.

This year’s holiday shopping season has been more challenging than ever because of Covid restrictions. But you can maximize the resources you are putting into compliance by building a loyal customer base among safety-conscious shoppers.
