The LA SBDC Regional Network has partnered with a coalition of Southern California organizations to launch 12 Days of Takeout, a promotional campaign designed to support independent local restaurants that are closed to in-person dining during the holiday season.

LA SBDC Director Pat Nye was at Cos & Pi Neighborhood Bakery in Pasadena with KTLA Channel 5 to support the campaign and spread the word about how the SBDC can help local businesses.

The 12 Days of Takeout campaign aims to remind Southern Californians that even though in-person dining is temporarily suspended due to the current surge of the Coronavirus, eateries are open for takeout and delivery.

The campaign is already having an effect, according to Nye.

“We had people who saw us on the early news segments come down to get takeout while we were still there.”
