This presentation covers the fundamentals to start and grow a business. It is ideal for the new business owner as well as existing companies.
The format is structured to provide a business checklist, identifying areas that need to be addressed.
After each session you will receive a handout with additional resources. You will also receive an invitation to schedule a private consultation to review your individual business.
What is covered:
· Choosing the right business structure
· Business licenses and other government regulations
· Accounting software options and considerations
· Hiring independent contractors and employees
The workshop and consultations are at no charge to the business owners. This program is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration.
Presenter: Lori Williams is a business consultant, speaker and writer. She has over 20 years of experience in strategic planning, finance, marketing and operations. Lori is the owner of Business Simply Put, LLC. Her eBooks are distributed through Amazon, ITunes and she has been a featured writer for Start-Up Nation. Lori holds an MBA from Pepperdine University, BS Business and Management, an AA in Medical Science and a Practitioner’s license in NeuroLinguistic Programming. She has taught in the entrepreneurial department at both USC and Pepperdine University.
