As a business owner, you understand that contracts are necessary to protect and grow your business, but you may not realize there are circumstances in which you can draft a contract yourself – without the expense of a lawyer.
LA SBDC advisor Gina Pak is both an entrepreneur and a lawyer who provides SBDC clients with legal information pertinent to their businesses. In this informative and hands-on workshop, Gina will guide you through:
• Reviewing contract basics and best practices; and
• Drafting a contract together, specifically an independent contractor agreement to use when you are hiring or are hired yourself.
