Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1986(COBRA), allows an individual that has separated from the job to extend his/her insurance with the former employer, for a maximum period of 18 months. The presentation includes compliance requirements for notices, qualifying events, and timelines for enrollment.
