The Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) and the FTC Safeguards Rule require tax and accounting professionals of all sizes to protect customer data by implementing and maintaining a written, accessible Written Information Security Program (WISP). This webinar explains the required elements of a compliant WISP, including designating a qualified individual, assessing risks, implementing safeguards and policies, managing service providers, using multi-factor authentication, and continuously evaluating and updating the program.
