Are you an independent contractor? Do you engage independent contractors? Are you confused or unaware of the new law governing the engagement of independent contractors? To avoid fines and penalties, there are technicalities that are important to understand.
Topics will include:
-Explanation of the new Independent Contractor law (AB5)
-Which businesses, professions and trades are exempt from AB5
-Discussion of the criteria to be an independent contractor
-Ramifications for violation of AB5
