This webinar will teach the basics of starting and running a California nonprofit corporation such as required filings with the IRS, California Secretary of State and Attorney General; electing board members and officers; holding meetings and taking minutes, collection charitable donations; understanding bylaws; avoiding actions that could be deemed taxable or risk the corporation’s non-profit status; entering into contracts; and hiring professional fundraisers.
